I dream of design;
         and then I design my dream

BIO

I am a Web Developer / Graphic Designer based in the Houston Metropolitan area. For as long as I can remember, art in all of its forms has played a part in my development as a thinking creative being. Creating graphic designs and my first web site back in high school consumed me, and there were times when it was almost impossible for me to bring myself to the point where I could log off and rest.

My interests are many and varied and they range from photography to sculpture to paintings. I am particularly inspired by the sculpture from the Olmec of ancient Mesoamerica. I also love the performing arts, and for six years was immersed in playing the cello. I enjoy classical music and attending symphonies.

There are some artists who may disagree with me, but I also see boxing as an art. It is an integral part of my family dynamic and I love it! The sounding of the bell at a fight represents for me, as it does for the fighters, the ability to have one more chance. to showcase my determination and dedication to be the best at what I do.

EARLY CAREER

After graduating from the Art Institute, life and opportunity pulled me into the Graphic and Print industry. I believe that I can confidently say that I have mastered. My work at the Alvin Guggenheim Agency afforded me the opportunity to work on advertising and promotions for movie companies such as WALT DISNEY, DREAMWORKS, and PARAMOUNT. Other ventures include stints in marketing with the KROGER CO. and with REGENCY PUBLISHING GROUP, where I designed prestigious broker magazines for affluent clients.

I have also been blessed to combine my love for the art of Boxing with my proficiency in Graphic Arts to promote my passion for the sport. I have designed for professional boxers, boxing promoters and trainers. My work can also be seen in UNDEFEATED COMBAT SPORT MAGAZINE.

TRUE CALLING

Not many people get the opportunity to recognize and work in professions that are truly what they want to do. I know that I am one of the fortunate ones! The opportunities and life experiences that I have been blessed to encounter have worked in tandem to provide me with the wherewithal to pursue my dreams. The next step in my educational pursuits will be to achieve my Master of Science degree concentrating in Web Development and Mobile Apps which I hope to begin in the fall of 2013. Because of this I can say that in Web Design and Graphic Arts- I have found my true calling! I truly don’t see myself doing anything else.
